Level 5: Advanced Fluency Black Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Level 5:  Advanced Fluency Black Course is the fifth level to the journey of acquiring the English language.  This course supports students to reach the highest level in acquiring English  through expert level use of BJJ vocabulary, advanced speaking scenarios, reading and writing skills.  Our courses include vocabulary, grammar, and contextual practice in all four language domains (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing). The Level 5 course builds on the English acquired from the Level 1, 2,  3 and 4 courses to advance forward to the expert level in speaking and writing experiences.  The Level 5 course also focuses on more advanced levels of reading in English.  

The Level 5:  Advanced Fluency Black Course consists of 10 modules for a total of 32 weeks.  Each module is a little more than 3 weeks long and includes weekly 1 hour live lessons with the instructor. The live sessions support meaningful interaction among peers as well as immediate feedback from the instructor. 

In order to continue progressing, we encourage you to participate fully in all the modules throughout the entire 32 weeks of the course.

CERTIFICATION

All students that successfully complete the course will receive a BJJ Language Academy Certificate of completion.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Expectation is for students to reach the advanced fluency level through language functions and skills during the modules.  The goal is to successfully complete the Level 5:  Advanced Fluency Black Course and score mastery on  level assessment, completing  the final course.  Students that successfully complete the Level 5:  Advanced Fluency Black Course are expected to be able to do the following: 
  • Understand and Express fluently in English Jiu Jitsu vocabulary and concepts
  • Understand and express at the advanced level Training and Competition vocabulary in English both orally and written
  • Read and Express at the advanced level  in English the Culture and Networking in International Jiu Jitsu
  • Apply all English skills fluently in the area of International Seminars and Interviews

**You must register and submit your English Placement Test to finish enrollment as the results allow for appropriate course placement.
